- Pick off and back finish. Thread rolling. Watkins saws. CNC slides
- Screw Machining – Within + .0005” on diameters, + .001” on lengths. Concentricities to + .001” T.I.R. Lengths to 23”.
- CNC Machining – Within + .0001” on diameters, + .0005 on lengths. Concentricities to + .0005” T.I.R.
Secondary Operating Equipment
- Wirth & Gruffat 8-station rotary transfer machines
- Complete Secondary Department for drilling, tapping, milling, turning, threading, knurling, and grinding

Material
PPTP machines component parts from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and machinable plastics. Materials machined are in round, Hex, square and specialty drawn/extruded shapes, including tubing. PPTP maintains relationships with approved material suppliers, and sources material mill direct, and from full line service centers. Prime materials are:
- Free machining alloy steels, including stainless steel
- Brass and other copper alloys, including bronze
- Aluminum alloys – primarily 2000, 6000 and 7,000 Series
